Since August 2018, my privilege and delight has been to serve the exceptional learners of Pike Road Junior High and High School. As a Montgomery native, being part of the evolution of Pike Road Schools has been an exciting adventure. Prior to this teaching in Pike Road, I taught in Montgomery Public Schools for 6 years as a resource special education teacher and a self-contained special education teacher. Additionally, I have served on many committees with the Alabama State Department of Education to revise and improve the Alabama Alternate Achievement Standards.
