About Me
Welcome to C7 ELA at Pike Road Junior High School! This is my first year at PRJHS, and I am so excited to be your English Lead Learner this year! My name is Courtney Terry, and I am originally from Meyersdale, PA. I moved to Baldwin County, AL with my husband in 2015. We spent a year in Auburn, and now I am here in Pike Road. I have two cats, Tails and Rocky (who is a three-legged kitty). I root for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, Penn State Nittany Lions, and I will say "Roll Tide" occasionally. I love to read, travel, watch movies, attend concerts, and check out new restaurants.
To me, teaching involves more than being an instructional expert; it signifies building quality and trusting relationships that provide a safe place for mistakes and failures. My job is to empower learners to find their geniuses and to create a nurturing, secure environment in which learners can comfortably grow and become successful. My goal is to help you/your child to succeed. Please let me know how I can help in any way! I look forward to working with you all this year! Go Patriots!
